Commemoration of the launch of the New Arcadian Press (originally known as ‘New Arcadians’). Patrick Eyres and Ian Gardner had previously collaborated through Gardner’s Blue Tunnel imprint. Verazanno’s Arcadia was the wooded coastline of North America, subsequently known as Acadie by French colonists. The Wood of Dunsinane, which camouflaged Macbeth’s mobile enemies, heralds the press’s campaigning agenda
