Dr Patrick Eyres <patrickjeyres@gmail.com>
~ Director of the New Arcadian Press and the driving force behind the New Arcadian Journal and the 70 New Arcadian Broadsheets (1981-2011). He has created each edition and crafted each layout for printing.
~ As an author, he has published in numerous books and other journals, and co-edited with Fiona Russell Sculpture and the Garden (Ashgate 2006 / Routledge 2017). See Bibliography on the menu bar above. He has also lectured across the UK as well as in the USA and mainland Europe.
~ As an educator, he spent over thirty enjoyable and stimulating years teaching undergraduate and post-graduate students in the School of Art & Design at Bradford College.
~ Since 1999, he has served on the boards of the Little Sparta Trust, the Wentworth Castle Heritage Trust, the Leeds Art Fund and the Garden History Society (now The Gardens Trust). Although he retired from the Little Sparta Trust in 2017, Patrick continues to participate in the annual conservation discussion in the garden. Between 2011 and 2020, he established, convened and chaired the annual New Research Symposium on behalf of The Gardens Trust.
